Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the fundamental concepts of sports law and ethical principles; to gain the ability to analyze legal and ethical issues encountered in the sports sector; and to develop the skills to resolve legal disputes and evaluate ethical dilemmas arising in sports activities. |

Course Contents | ||
This course includes the purpose, sources, and characteristics of sports law; the organizational and administrative structures of sports in Turkey and around the world; athlete contracts, transfer processes, and their legal aspects; the enforcement of discipline in sports activities, disciplinary boards, and sanctions; doping control, its legal consequences, and ethical evaluations; legal regulations for preventing violence and disorder in sports competitions; methods for combating match-fixing, incentive bonuses, and corruption in sports; and the instruction of fundamental principles and application areas of sports ethics. | ||
