Objectives of the Course
Greenhouse systems and provide basic information about greenhouse vegetable cultivation and the main vegetable farming in greenhouse types of training techniques to teach.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can learn greenhouse systems PO-5 To be able to recognize and evaluate plants produced for organic farming using basic knowledge and skills.
PO-15 Identify problems in overall scale, analyze and develop solutions, identify incidents and concepts by using their acquired information.
PO-16 Takes responsibility in carrying out a study in the field and solving unforeseen problems encountered in practice.
PO-17 Manage the ones who are lower than them in position.

Course Contents
History of greenhouse cultivation, economic importance, site selection. Greenhouse building materials, cover materials, heating, cooling, ventilation, irrigation, fertilization, environment preparation and control of diseases and pests. Growing of tomatoes, cucumber, pepper, eggplant, lettuce, melon, watermelon, bean, pumpkin etc. vegetables in the greenhouse
