Objectives of the Course
The purpose of this lecture is to gain the experimental ability related to vibrations and waves.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 She/he can install experimental set-up to observe the basic wave properties such as reflection, refraction, interference, diffraction and polarization. PO-1 To demonstrate their knowledge of the basic scientific principles and fundamental concepts and skills of the field.
PO-4 To Make measurements using laboratory equipment and perform calculations that verify physical principles explain how physical principles apply in given situations.

The introduction and teaching of the use of instruments in laboratory; Simple harmonic motion; Electromagnetic vibrations in RLC circuit; Compound pendulum; Periodically excited continuous transverse wave propagation; Vibration of strings; Damped harmonic motion; Beat; Determination of speed of sound by resonance method; Reflection and refraction; Interference and diffraction; Determination of concentration by polarized light; Acoustic Doppler effects; Fourier analysis.
