Objectives of the Course
Understanding Basic Concepts of Political Economy, Choice of Vehicles and Purpose and Fundamental Macro Theories. Political Structure of World Economy and Turkish Ekonomy with the relevant performing analysis.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can explain the basic concepts and objectives of Political Economy. PO-1 have information about basic economic topics and indicators.
PO-3 have information about the reasons and results of transition that take place in economics.
PO-6 have ability on examining and analyzing the effects of economic policies.
PO-11 have ability on defining economic variables and comment on the relationships between these variables.

Course Contents
To understand and to be able to use basic knowledge in economic-social and financial issues, to assess and interpret them, to analyze economic, social and financial developments, to have options and represent them in economic issues, to acquire the ability to create solution to varius economic problems. To have the basic theoretical knowledge of economics and the ability to perform analyses. To have fundamental knowledge of law for a successful cognition of legal infrastructure of economy.
