Objectives of the Course

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 He, She use kiln types and cooking techniques. PO-25 Life-long learning with a sense of current developments is followed by the ever-changing information and communication technologies and applies them to work.
Examination
LO-2 He, She Can the methods of firing pottery. PO-10 Recognize the basic materials in accordance with the experiences and the acquired knowledge in the field of glass and ceramics technology and ceramics chemistry; are able to form mud, gloss and plaster; are able to do an experimental research; collect data and present them.
Examination
LO-3 Know the methods of ceramic glazing. PO-7 Recognize the techniques which are shaping ceramics and design; practice three-dimensioned workshops; achieve new things by following the reforms in their fields and combining the traditional and contemporary things in terms of design and practice; carry out porcelainization and firing processes; use the technological devices, electrical appliances and machines related to their branch; understand the problems and their solutions.
