Objectives of the Course
The main objective of the course, the basic properties of materials used in the field of environmental engineering processes to evaluate and to gain the information needed to use the appropriate material.

Course Contents
Importance of knowledge of materials, environmental engineering, material knowledge bases, the general characteristics of the materials, the effects of environmental conditions on the material, inspection and selection procedures, metals, alloys, pipes and profiles, corrosion, plastics, fuels, lubricants, thermal and acoustic insulation materials, artificial building materials , noise-insulation materials and their use.
