Objectives of the Course
To gain the ability to use the spreadsheet software program at basic and intermediate level.

LO-1 Be able to use the spreadsheet preparation program. PO-1 In mathematics, science and engineering fields related to environmental engineering to have these fields in use for the solution of theoretical and practical knowledge of engineering,

Excel formulas, table usage, charts, macros, filtering and sorting operations.

1 Excel startup screen, basic components of excel, workspace view, workbook and worksheet concepts, active cell naming conventions. Distance Education, Description Method and Computer Applications.
2 Excel create a new workbook, cell operations and data entry, shortcut keys for excel command buttons, adding / removing commands to the quick access toolbar, changing tab color. Distance Education, Description Method and Computer Applications.
3 Format Cells (Wrap text, orientation text, add borders, fill and add patterns) window options, customize status bar, simple addition using + operator. Distance Education, Description Method and Computer Applications.
