Objectives of the Course
To teach the social sources of environmental problems and their sociological scales, to keep track of discussions on this issue.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can understand the relationship between the concept and the problems of environmental sociology. PO-1 1. Can understand the basic concepts regarding the sociology programs.

LO-2 Science, technology and development issues from different perspectives, such as may be notified. PO-2 2.Can transfer and adapt what they have acquired in the field of Sociology to other disciplines.
PO-5 5. Can dedicate to improve themselves by keeping abreast of the developments in science, technology and modern topics.

Course Contents
The discussions of environment, society and technology form the contents. It will be discussed that the fact of environment is not just technic, economic or a nature scientific fact, but also it is a social fact. Modern environment problems and the tools to understand the social outcomes of these problems will be discussed. And also, how to handle the modern environment problems, the environmental science, the moves of environment and environmental policies are inside the subjects.
