Objectives of the Course
To have information about the type of prose in Classical Turkish literature and ability to follow the historical development of the type of prose in texts and interpretation of prose texts

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Gains knowledge on the story forms in tradition. PO-1 improve and deepen their knowledge in the same or different field based on the graduate level and master level qualifications in their field of study.
PO-3 Use the relevant research methods and techniques and have both theoretical and practical knowledges in their field of study.
PO-5 Use the knowledge they have obtained in their field of study in order to promote the level of education, culture and arts of the society.
PO-8 Collect data related with their field of study, review and put them in practice, checking them in the process of announcing the results and taking into consideration the scientific, cultural, artistic, social and ethical values.

Prose in Classical Turkish literature and its features and types of prose and proses texts on religious, epic, historical, menkabevi, mystical and history of Islam and XVIII. and XIX. century, anthologies and other prose texts.
