Objectives of the Course
To educate persons who respect human rights and democratic values, who analyses the development of the Turkish culture and who are reconciled to global values, to educate conscious persons who know the structure of the state and law system.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 know historical development of human rights and democracy PO-1 Being knowledgeable about teaching programs, teaching strategies, methods and techniques, and measurement and evaluation.
PO-4 Ability to explain aims, principles, vision, mission, structure and functioning of Turkish education system, classroom management approaches and concepts related to education.
PO-6 Have cultural education compatible with social environment and educational level.
PO-7 Ability to use information sources related to the field.

Human righst and democracy, Human and society, rules ordering the life of society, democratic life in family, school and social environment, country and the type of country, evolution of the hegemony apprehension in history, basic benefits and accountabilities, fundamental law, constitutional foundations, constitutional life, Turkish law system, basic characters and state structure of Turkish Republic.
