Objectives of the Course
To develop a basic understanding towards education and learning; to develop positive attitude towards teaching profession; to found a basis for other teaching certification courses.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Explain basic concepts about education. PO-1 Being knowledgeable about teaching programs, teaching strategies, methods and techniques, and measurement and evaluation.
PO-3 To satisfy the needs of students ability to recognise concepts and relationship between concepts related to the field.
PO-4 Ability to explain aims, principles, vision, mission, structure and functioning of Turkish education system, classroom management approaches and concepts related to education.
Examination
LO-2 Recognize the fundamental principles of education as a field of scientific study. PO-2 Have knowledge about evaluating limits accuracy, reliability and validity from nature of the source of information.
PO-4 Ability to explain aims, principles, vision, mission, structure and functioning of Turkish education system, classroom management approaches and concepts related to education.
PO-7 Ability to use information sources related to the field.
