Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to gain knowledge and skills about plant and animal cell and tissue culture applications.

Importance of plant and animal cell and tissue culture studies, tools and equipment used in cell and tissue culture laboratories, sources of contamination and sterilization methods, stages of plant tissue culture, types of animal cell culture according to their sources and growth patterns, preparation of medium, feeding and passaging of cells, cell freezing and dissolving processes, cell counting and analysis, cell viability determination methods, stem cell definition, types and application areas
