Objectives of the Course
The purpose of this course is to gain knowledge and skills on the concepts related to industrial wastewater and the physical and chemical treatments for industrial wastewaters.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Be able to explain the characteristics of industrial wastewaters. PO-1 PO-1 Have an advanced level of knowledge about the recent and best practices in Environmental Engineering, deepen and expand their knowledge on the expert level, conduct and assess the analyses by employing statistical methods
PO-8 PO-8 Transfer in a systematical way the latest developments in Environmental Engineering and their field of study reinforcing with qualitative and quantitative data to the groups either concerned with the field or not by verbal, visual and written means

Basic definitions, industries wastewater characteristics for different industries, the design of the physical and chemical wastewater treatment units, wastewater treatment plants, looking to the needs of industry solutions, issues that need to be considered in the operation of facilities.
