Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to gain knowledge and skills on the basic concepts of literature, German literary periods, and the analysis of German literary works.

Course Contents
The course examines the literary periods and movements in German literature from the 17th century to the middle of the 19th century; evaluation of the developments from the historical, philosophical and sociological point of view; It covers the development of the ability to understand literary texts in German through studies and activities on sample texts or works.
