Objectives of the Course
Define the language level of the class, select a short story or a novel according to the language level and the age or the class, adapt the selected short story or the chapter of a novel as the language teaching material, present a sample lesson by using the adapted short story or the novel chapter (micro teaching).

Course Contents
The course covers the introduction of different approaches and developments specific to the use of literature in foreign language teaching; Introducing and analyzing current principles and study techniques for using various epic texts such as short stories, fairy tales, fables, novels in German teaching; Course material development for the application of language-based activities to various German epic texts.
