Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to help students improve their ability to handle everyday situation in Russian and get academic knowledge to be efficient learners in their departments. This course is designed to allow students to be capable of understanding key aspects of Russian grammar, structure and rules. Students are expected to develop awareness of the role that Russian plays in personal and social development.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 (Students) are able to obtain basic knowledge of Russian language and will be able to express themselves. PO-15 Can establish a critical communication on a professional level making use of written and oral means of communication with their colleagues and other segments.

Course Contents
In this course, core skills - listening, reading, speaking, pronunciation will be studied. Language skills on A1 level will be provided.

1 Meeting with students; giving information about the course content, purpose of the course, Russia and Russian languge; instructing how many voice and silent letters, and how many signs occurred in Cyrillic alphabet; teaching how many letters occured in Cyrillic alphabet totaly; and giving information about printing and handwriting of Cyrillic alphabet. 2 Printing and hand's patterns of the vowel letters ''а,о,у,э,ы,и '' in Cyrillic alphabet and combination of these with the other letters;spelling and merging the two tone. Printing and hand's patterns of the letters ''м,т,п,к,д,н,б,г,р,л,в,ф,с,з,ж,ш,х,ч,й,щ,ц'' and ''е,ё,я,ю'' in Cyrillic alphabet and combination of these with the other letters. 3 The singular nouns; the gender of nouns; isolated cases in the gender of nouns; presenting the question words ''кто, что,где'' ; framing simple sentences; intonation in positive,negative and interrogative sentences; teaching the conjunctions ''а, и, или'' ; presenting words about greeting, meeting and saying farewell. 4 The question word ''кто'' and the personal pronouns; possesive question words ''чей, чья, чьё '' and possessive pronouns. Combination of possesive question words with the gender of nouns. 7 Writing the texts,related to daily life and in which have forms of the past and future tenses of verbs, with the method of dictate, reading exercises of texts.
