PO-3 Knowing language concept in every aspect, recognizing methods and disciplines (linguistics, grammar, philology) of the language, and can to examine Turkish language by contemporary linguistics data. PO-6 Can to read, explain, and examine linguistically texts which had been written in different alphabets (Gokturk, Uighur, Arabic et al.) in Historical Turkic dialects.

Course Contents |
Studying Old Uyghur Turkish alphabet, transcription of the texts written with this alphabet, transcription of these texts to modern Turkic, examination of these texts, and explanation of phonetic, morphologic and syntactic features of Uyghur Turkish. |
