Objectives of the Course
Teaching phonetic, morphologic and syntactic features of Uyghur Turkish with reference to Uyghur texts

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 (Students) comprehend the phonetic, morphologic and syntactic features of Uyghur Turkish with reference to Uyghur texts PO-3 Knowing language concept in every aspect, recognizing methods and disciplines (linguistics, grammar, philology) of the language, and can to examine Turkish language by contemporary linguistics data.
PO-6 Can to read, explain, and examine linguistically texts which had been written in different alphabets (Gokturk, Uighur, Arabic et al.) in Historical Turkic dialects.
Examination
LO-2 (Students) are able to understand whether the texts belong to Uyghur period or not. PO-5 Knowing chronologically and, with works, of history of Turkish language, and its periods from the first written documents to the emergence of contemporary Turkic dialects and to their present-day situation.
PO-6 Can to read, explain, and examine linguistically texts which had been written in different alphabets (Gokturk, Uighur, Arabic et al.) in Historical Turkic dialects.
Examination
LO-3 (Students) notice the aspect of the phonetic and morphologic features of Uyghur Turkish separeted from Köktürkçe and modern Turkey Turkish.. PO-3 Knowing language concept in every aspect, recognizing methods and disciplines (linguistics, grammar, philology) of the language, and can to examine Turkish language by contemporary linguistics data.

Course Contents
Studying Old Uyghur Turkish alphabet, transcription of the texts written with this alphabet, transcription of these texts to modern Turkic, examination of these texts, and explanation of phonetic, morphologic and syntactic features of Uyghur Turkish.
