Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide an overview of lean production, its techniques and its more comprehensive version namely lean thinking.

Quality, quality management, the evolution of quality management, people who make key contributions to development of quality management, dimensions of quality: product quality, dimensions of quality: service quality, assessing service quality, quality function deployment, poor quality and the consequences of poor quality, quality cots, quality awards and quality certification, total quality management (TQM), basic elements of TQM, quality tools, quality control, statistical process control, control charts: control charts for variables, control charts: control charts for attributes.
