Objectives of the Course | |||||
The main purpose of this course is to make students acquire main skills of English in grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening and writing in Beginner level and to encourage them to reach Elementary level at the end of the term. |

Course Contents | ||
This course is primarily directed toward teaching English grammar in Beginner level. While focusing on grammar; it promotes the development of all language skills in a variety of ways. The exercises may be directed toward listening skills, oral production, reading comprehension and writing skills or or any combination of these. The content of the course includes the following grammatical and situational topics listed below. Greetings , Introductions (This is...), Numbers , to be verbs, Possessive adjectives, Possessive 's, Present Simple, Adverbs of frequency, Pronouns, This/That(These/Those, There is/ There are, Prepositions of place/time , Past Simple, Can/can't, Adverbs, Some/any, like/would like, Present Continuous, Going to future, Everyday English (Good morning, Have a nice.., see you..., Social expressions (Sorry, Excuse me, Good luck, Don't worry.....), Making a phone call, Asking for prices How much ..?, Describe a person, Shopping language, Write about a town, Ask and give directions, Telling a story from pictures, Holiday conversation vocabulary, Everyday problems, Making offers to guests, Giving advice to certain problems (Why don't you...?) , Writing a mini autobiography. | ||
