Historical and theoretical roots of sociology, its scope and relation to other scientific disciplines, major thinkers who contributed to the development of sociology, Comte, positivism, Durkheim and social division of labor, anomie, solidarity, Marx, critique of capitalism, alienation, classes, Weber, rationalization, bureaucratization, social strata, theories on religion, culture, socialization, historical types of society, racism and ethnicity, social and political change, mass media, popular culture, revolutions and reforms. | ||
