Objectives of the Course
Based on the thinking and practice of sociology imagery acquired before the person´s own thoughts about the life of the community to provide for removal of systematic review methods, and theories include the evaluation of the evidence in the light of the terms of the logical arguments to show that a science.

Course Contents
Historical and theoretical roots of sociology, its scope and relation to other scientific disciplines, major thinkers who contributed to the development of sociology, Comte, positivism, Durkheim and social division of labor, anomie, solidarity, Marx, critique of capitalism, alienation, classes, Weber, rationalization, bureaucratization, social strata, theories on religion, culture, socialization, historical types of society, racism and ethnicity, social and political change, mass media, popular culture, revolutions and reforms.
