Objectives of the Course
Diplomatic English courses have a liberal, practical approach to familiarizing beginners with daily and academic journals and periodicals on international issues. After a soft landing into international and diplomatic terminology, the courses aim to prepare students to gain skills in the comprehension of international issues, ultimately leading to reasoning in a global horizon.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can translate, understand and evaluate the official diplomatic and political texts and documents. PO-3 To be able to explain the research methods of International Relations.
PO-5 To be able to establish effective communication, oral and written; at least one foreign language in general use at the level of the European language portfolio B1.
PO-7 To be able to monitor developments using a foreign language at B1 level.
PO-11 To be able to develop a positive attitude towards lifelong learning.

The features of diplomacy, the main principles, methods and styles of diplomatic language, technical concepts and terms, evaluation of various diplomatic texts and documents.
