Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to help the learner to be able to translate formal texts from English into Turkish and from Turkish into English. The course also aims at interpreting and comprehending formal texts such as international agreements, diplomatic speeches and diplomatic correspondence.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can obtain and develop skills in translation and Demonstrate understanding and interpreting formal texts (political and diplomatic). PO-3 To be able to explain the research methods of International Relations.
PO-5 To be able to establish effective communication, oral and written; at least one foreign language in general use at the level of the European language portfolio B1.
PO-11 To be able to develop a positive attitude towards lifelong learning.
PO-12 To be able to use information and communication technologies and software at the minimum level of proficiency of Advanced European Computer Driving License.
PO-13 To be able to abide by social, scientific, cultural, and ethical values regarding the collection, interpretation and propagation of data related to international relations.

The features of diplomacy, the main principles, methods and styles of diplomatic language, technical concepts and terms, evaluation of various diplomatic texts and documents.
