Objectives of the Course
This course aims to introduce the key concepts and practices of EU foreign policy. It covers historical development and current stage of EU’s foreign policy, and main arenas that EU’s foreign policy targets.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can analyze the problems in the foreign policy of the European Union PO-6 To be able to identify their own learning needs and direct the learning.
PO-11 To be able to develop a positive attitude towards lifelong learning.
Examination
LO-2 can explain the foreign policy formation process of the European Union. PO-1 To be able to explain the concepts/theories of International Relations.
PO-3 To be able to explain the research methods of International Relations.
PO-11 To be able to develop a positive attitude towards lifelong learning.
Examination
LO-3 Can analyze the European Union's relations with the Middle East, the Mediterranean, the USA and Russia PO-3 To be able to explain the research methods of International Relations.
PO-7 To be able to monitor developments using a foreign language at B1 level.
PO-12 To be able to use information and communication technologies and software at the minimum level of proficiency of Advanced European Computer Driving License.

Course Contents
In this course, students who have already studied EU’s historical background, will focus on EU’s Common Foeign and Security Policy and, its relations with different regions in the world, in particular.
