Course Contents |
The sacred histories and events described in the Old Testament, Gospels and other apocryphal texts are examined. Starting from the art of miniature painting and wall painting and other materials such such as stone, metal, wood and ivory work, the scenes representing the above mentioned sacred stories are studied throughout visual examples. These representations are analyzed from the Iconographical perspective and assessed. |
