Objectives of the Course | |||||
Introduction to the Byzantine culture from 12th to 15th cent. through the works of art in the religious and civil architecture, monumental painting, icon painting, manuscripts and minor arts. To create common awareness and consciousness in Turkey about the cultural heritage of this period. Introduction to Post-Byzantine art. |
