Objectives of the Course
To learn the evolution of Ottoman art from the 17th century to the first quarter of the 20th century.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Learns album paintings in Ottoman art. PO-1 Having theoretical and practical knowledges in Art History
PO-2 Acquiring ability on data collection, analyzing, interpreting, discussing and proposing about the issues of the History of Art.
Examination
LO-2 Discuss the reflections of new understandings, which started to be seen with 18th century, as a subject. PO-5 Having ability on semtinizing and evaluating the effects of materials, manufacturing technique, designing, political, social, economical, and ideological factors on production and progress of art and arhictecture products.
PO-7 Having ability to practice his/her knowledge on the History of Art in transdisciplinary works.
Examination
LO-3 Understands the imperial appreciation in the context of wall paintings. PO-8 Realizing the meaning and importance of the History of Art in national or international aspects; being capable of evaluation and interpretation of art and architecture products that has survived.
PO-9 Achieving the consciousness of acquising new knowledge and skills lifelong.

Course Contents
Album paintings in the Ottoman art of painting, the new insights that began to be seen in the 18th century as the subject of the image reflections, Imperial paintings formed in the context of wall paintings, learn the pioneers of the paintings.
