Objectives of the Course
To provide knowledge of thermal principles of electrotherapy modalities, tissue responses to modalities, and mechanisms and application tecniques of high frequency currents.

LO-1 can learnsand explain effects and application tecniques of high frequency currents. PO-4 Choose and use efficiently physiotherapy techniques required for the cases.

Course Contents
Thermal mechanisms, physiological responses in electrotherapy will be discussed and basic properties and application principles of high-frequency currents, Nmes, Russian currents, Magnetotherapy, Hvpc, traction, FES, microcurrent issues will be discussed.
