Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to gain basic knowledge and skills about genetic methods.

Course Contents
DNA isolation methods and calculations, RNA isolation methods and their calculations, restriction enzymes, polymerase chain reaction, hybridization of nucleic acids, Southern and Northern Blot analyzes, DNA sequencing, Allel-specific oligonucleotide analysis, microarray analysis, short tandem repeats (STR), STR analysis, evaluation of STR profiles, classical cytogenetic methods, molecular cytogenetic methods
