Objectives of the Course
To handle elements such as state, individual, society, liberty and rights at a philosophical level in through presenting the general and important concepts of political philosophy to students.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can identify the main notions and theories of political philosophy. PO-1 Developing skills of analytic and synthetic thinking, reading and writing.
PO-2 Understanding and criticising philosophical works from local and universal points of view.
PO-9 Communicating, through writing and speech, knowledge obtained, and suggestions made as to how to resolve confronted problems in a systematic and coherent way.
Examination
LO-2 Can identify main questions and problems of political philosophy and also possible solutions to them. PO-1 Developing skills of analytic and synthetic thinking, reading and writing.
PO-8 Understanding, resolving and – if need be – manipulating singular problems confronted in sub-disciplines of philosophy.

Course Contents
To examine the general concepts of political philosophy such as liberty, right, state or property and under the light of this information obtained, to examine the central problems and questions of political philosophy. Some of these questions are: What is a state and how does it arise? What is the relation between state and individual? What is liberty and how can we draw the limits of liberty and what is the ideal form of government?
