Objectives of the Course | |||||
It is aimed to reveal economic, social, cultural and ecological features that determine the concept of tourism which has a significant impacts on the environement. In this context, the sustainability of the resources is provided by the assistance of tools and methods with qualitative and quantitative indicators. Secondly, by examining the interaction of tourism and recreation with culture and the natural environment in Turkey and in the world enlighten students about the current tourism policies |

The relationship between tourism development trends and environmental resources. Natural and social infrastructure influencing tourism development. Tourism's positive and negative effects on environmental resources are evaluated in terms of their use of resources. Sustainability, sustainable development and tourism relations. The way tourism and local people perceive environment and environmental resources, and sustainable tourism. The reasons that tourism must be sustainable. Criteria for achieving sustainable tourism success. | ||
