Objectives of the Course
The responsibility for quality rests with management; that is most of the opportunities for quality improvement requires management action. This course is about the use of statistical methods and other problem solving techniques, particularly the control charts that are widespread in the business world, to improve the quality of products used by our society. The objective of this course is to increase the quality consciousness of future businessmen and women so that they become partners in quality improvement process.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 basic knowledge on acceptance sampling PO-12 become skilful at maths, econometrics and statistics, making more effective decisions with econometric and statistical analysis. Furthermore, they are capable of predicting the outcomes of these decisions and interpreting the cause and effect relation.
PO-17 Use modern methods and technologies of business administration including analytical thinking and information technology in the first instance.
