Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge about the development of children’s literature in Turkish and world literature, as well as the design, content and basic training principles of a good children’s book, and with skills to select children’s books suitable for the development of preschool children.

Course Contents
Development of children's literature in the world and Turkey.The importance of quality children's books in the childhood stage, function of the works of children's literature.The features of the works of children's literature (design, content, and educational).to show examples of unskilled Children's books and discussion of the negative effects on children's development,Children's literature criticism.
