Objectives of the Course
The objective of the course is to help students comprehend glaze formulation system throughly, increase her/his knowledge by making glaze and produce glaze with the demanded effect.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can explain types of ceramic glaze and raw materials PO-9 Recognize the basic materials in accordance with the experiences and the acquired knowledge in the field of glass and ceramics technology and ceramics chemistry; are able to form mud, gloss and plaster; are able to do an experimental research; collect data and present them.

Course Contents
Preparation of artistic and industrial glaze compositions, observation on effects of raw materials on glazes, production of glazes by using the knowledge of glazes, basic oxides and their characteristics and glaze types.
