Objectives of the Course
Aim of this course is to learn and comprehend the most recent knowledge regarding the role of regular physical activity in improving health and the quality of life, what is the function of physical activity in the prevention and control of some chronic diseses, effects of physical activity in special populations (children, women, pregnancy, elderly), the significance of preparticipation screening for safe exercise prescription, health problems faced with sports participation and preventive measures, and physical activity assessment methods.

It covers the benefits of regular exercise participation in enhancement of health and improving the quality of life; how to measure physical activity level; effects of physical activity in special populations (children, women, pregnancy elderly); the role of high level of physical activity in the prevention and control of osteoporosis, diabetes, chronic heart diseases and cancer; health problems faced with sports participation and preventive measures; preparticipation screening methods.
