Objectives of the Course | |||||
Sports biochemistry; aims at forming a base in explaining cell process related to base motor characteristics in sports movements, like speed, strenght and endurance. The scope of this course will include enzymatic control mechanisms of energy production, energy metabolism, and biochemical adaptations in ultra structure of muscle fiber in response to acute and chronic exercise. |

This course includes interpreting characteristics of metabolic pathways of ATP resynthesis inside muscle cell and metabolic pathways? biochemical responses to acute and chronic exercise, as well as ultra structure of skeletal muscle and biochemical characteristics of energy producing muscle fibers during diffrent exercise intesities. | ||
