Objectives of the Course
To make students have competence and knowledge for necessity, importance and content of the science education in early childhood education, to design activities, and use methods to promote childs scientific thinking in early ages

Course Contents
Nature of science and characteristics of scientists; the importance of science and nature in preschool education; construction of science and nature concepts in mind and creation of concept mappings; strategies; types of experiments used in preschool education methods and techniques used in teaching of science and nature concepts; basic concepts related to science and nature; living and nonliving things; recognition of sky and space; basic facts related to heat and light
