Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to enable students to have knowledge about UNESCO World heritage sites in various regions of the world, including Turkey, to have knowledge about the use and protection of heritage sites for tourism purposes.

Course Contents
In our country, 21 cultural assets have been included in the World Heritage List and many cultural assets are nominated to be included in this scope. In this course, the concept of world heritage and its importance will be emphasized. The importance of these places, especially World Heritage Sites, in terms of protection, and the fact that the protection of the works ensures the continuity of the heritage and the protection of the common past of humanity will be presented in a way that will reveal this. It will be revealed that cultural and natural heritage areas have great importance in the fields of art, architecture, history, nature and culture and that their protection will enable future generations to discover and appreciate these rich heritages. It will be emphasized how these heritage areas should be best introduced in terms of Tourism Guidance.
