The aim of this course is to provide pre-service teachers with basic knowledge about special education in early childhood.

Course Contents
Basic concepts: infancy, early childhood and developmental retardation; early childhood definition, importance, history and theoretical background of special education; act experts; family participation; evaluation; intervention programs: institution, home and institution-based applications; and the transition process; basic topics: game, developmental applications suitable for periods, natural teaching, family centered applications.
