Objectives of the Course
To learn the importance of festivals and festivals in Turkish culture

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Knows the basic concepts of the course PO-1 Graduates of master program with Turkish Folklore thesis have basic and general knowledge about field / discipline.
PO-2 Students will learn the basic theories and applications of folklore.
PO-3 Learn the theories and concepts of folklore with the epistemological foundations and apply them to the materials they collect in their professional lives.
PO-4 They will have knowledge about the approaches and methods developed in folk culture and will be able to prepare and apply lesson plans and activities appropriate to these methods.
PO-10 They can reach scientific results that can bring innovation to Turkish Folklore discipline through original academic studies.
PO-11 Uses computer technologies to solve the problems encountered in the field.

LO-2 Learn the archaic roots of current festivals and interpret them comparatively. PO-4 They will have knowledge about the approaches and methods developed in folk culture and will be able to prepare and apply lesson plans and activities appropriate to these methods.
PO-8 They will be able to analyze the basic elements of culture and to take an active role in the protection of the information channels that protect the identity of the society through their inferences.
PO-9 They will be able to use intercultural communication, gaining the necessary equipment to perceive and interpret different cultures.
PO-10 They can reach scientific results that can bring innovation to Turkish Folklore discipline through original academic studies.
PO-22 It promotes the universality of social and cultural rights in the field of humanities, gains consciousness of social justice, has historical and cultural heritage.
