Objectives of the Course
Giving general knowledge about the sociology of youth and to think analytically about the subject.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 To be able to analyze youth definition and youth subculture sociologically. PO-1 1. Can understand the basic concepts regarding the sociology programs.
PO-6 6. Can assess and evaluate the data making use of the advanced knowledge and skills that they have acquired in the field, to define and analyze the issues connected with current technological developments finding ways to offer solutions to those issues based on the researched and evidence.

Course Contents
Youth sociology course includes youth as a social category, sociological theories on generation and youth subculture. In this course, the relationship between youth and modernity is discussed. It is also discussed working sociology of youth in Turkey
