Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to gain knowledge about how to respond to different levels of factors which cause conflict and terrorism discrimination.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can make the distinction between conflict, terrorism and terrorists. PO-2 comprehends the aims, objectives, types, causes, dynamics, financing of terrorism and its role in international power struggles.
PO-4 develops policies on the methods, techniques and strategies of effective fight against local and global terrorism.
Examination
LO-2 Can classify terrorism according to reasons. PO-1 comprehends the place, the role and the effects of security in international relations.
PO-2 comprehends the aims, objectives, types, causes, dynamics, financing of terrorism and its role in international power struggles.

LO-3 Can analyze the strategies of states against terrorism. PO-6 follows national and international developments on security and terrorism.
PO-7 introduces critical approaches to political studies in national and international level abaout the fields of security and terrorism.

Course Contents
In the course, the conceptual and theoretical debates and the ways in which combat tools can be used at different levels of analysis and their activities will be questioned.In this context, with the examples that have been proven to be successful in the past, the methods and tools used in the fight against today's terrorist organizations and the possible solutions to the problem areas will be investigated.
