Objectives of the Course
Communication and art and sociology are closely related disciplines. It is not possible to have an effective communication and art process without knowing the structure, content and characteristics of the society. Therefore, it is aimed that the students learn the sociological terms and concepts of the course and provide a foundation for the professional studies that will be done by understanding the social structure, content and characteristics.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Learns the terms and concepts of sociology and uses sociology in his / her work related to his profession. PO-2 Students will be able to describe the concepts, thoughts, cases and problems related to the field and perceive them as multi-dimensional.
PO-16 Students will be able to define the sociological philosophical and historical process of human existence in the cultural dimension.
PO-24 Visual Communication Design adapts to what they have learned and gained in the department education process.
