Objectives of the Course
To give basic information about fertilizers and to give basic information about fertilization and fertilizer analysis.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 To be able to recognize fertilizers used according to plant and soil analysis. PO-1 He/she has theoretical knowledge on basic subjects of chemistry, biology, microbiology and biotechnology.
PO-5 He/she makes basic evaluations in the fields of chemistry, biology, microbiology and biotechnology.
PO-22 He/She has sufficient knowledge and experience for analyzes in agricultural areas (such as pesticides and fertilizers).

LO-2 Knows the basic properties of the fertilizer in order to get the highest yield from the plant. PO-1 He/she has theoretical knowledge on basic subjects of chemistry, biology, microbiology and biotechnology.

LO-3 Have an idea about various chemical analyzes in fertilizers and apply them in practice. PO-1 He/she has theoretical knowledge on basic subjects of chemistry, biology, microbiology and biotechnology.
PO-6 He/she has the ability to interpret and evaluate data, to identify problems, to analyze and to develop solutions based on evidence, by using the basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field.

Introduction of fertilizers, fertilizer types, basic information about fertilization, fertilizer analysis, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium in fertilizers, electrical conductivity (EC) and micro-element determination.
