Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to acquire the ability to conduct experiments by making quantitative and qualitative analyzes, to create reports on experimental observations, and to draw scientific conclusions from experimental results.

LO-1 Learn some techniques and methods which are essential for chemistry laboratory. PO-1 He/she has theoretical knowledge on basic subjects of chemistry, biology, microbiology and biotechnology.

Course Contents
Working rules in the chemistry laboratory, laboratory safety precautions, the law of conservation of substances, examination of the properties of substances, stoichiometric calculations, examination of some properties of gases (molar volume and relative diffusion), examination of density and surface tension of liquids, solutions, preparation of solutions and determination of some properties, study of acids-bases, pH and indicator concepts
