Objectives of the Course
The purpose of this course is to analyse the various theoretical approaches that have been formed in International Relations discipline and to improve the skills of students in order for them to analyse contemporary issues in international relations studies from different theoretical perspectives.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can comment on the future of international relationas and emerging trends in the framework of discussed theoretical approaches PO-1 acquire intellectual infrastructure, which is necessary to make further research in the field of international relations.
PO-2 describe the basic facts and concepts of international relations and relate these to contemporary global issues.
Examination
LO-2 Can use theories of international relations to analyze and explain historical and contemporary events and problems PO-9 To be able to identify their own learning needs and direct the learning.
PO-10 To be able to have the awareness concerning the universality of social rights, social justice, and conservation of cultural values.
Examination
LO-3 Can explain the main assumptions, problematics, epistemological, ontological and methodological foundations and their solutions of those problematics with examples PO-2 describe the basic facts and concepts of international relations and relate these to contemporary global issues.
PO-7 deepen the knowledge about national and international institutions which determine the politics
PO-14 To be able to discuss the political, social and economic causes and results of the transformations experienced in a society or a government.
PO-16 To be able to use information and communication technologies and software at the minimum level of proficiency of Advanced European Computer Driving License.
