In this course, the ideological movements and political ideologies which effect the formation of modern Turkey from the 19th century to the present day is examined |

LO-1 | This course gives the ability to explain political movements emerged in Turkey in the 19th and 20th Century. |
PO-1 acquire intellectual infrastructure, which is necessary to make further research in the field of international relations. PO-2 describe the basic facts and concepts of international relations and relate these to contemporary global issues. PO-5 reach the information, in this regard to be able to make research, use databases and other sources PO-6 comprehend the historical background of political issues and make analytical approaches towards future. PO-7 deepen the knowledge about national and international institutions which determine the politics PO-8 To acquire necessary knowledge of foreign language in order to use in academic and professional life PO-9 To be able to identify their own learning needs and direct the learning. PO-10 To be able to have the awareness concerning the universality of social rights, social justice, and conservation of cultural values. PO-11 To be able to abide by social, scientific, cultural, and ethical values regarding the collection, interpretation and propagation of data related to international relations. PO-13 To be able to share their field thoughts with experts and non-experts on the responsibilities for the environment they live in and organize projects/activities accordingly. PO-16 To be able to use information and communication technologies and software at the minimum level of proficiency of Advanced European Computer Driving License. PO-17 have information about basic economic topics and indicators. PO-18 have ability on examining and analyzing the effects of economic policies.
