Objectives of the Course
Basic concepts of statistics and research (predictive statistics, parametric and nonparametric techniques, stages of hypothesis testing, conditions to be considered in the selection of different analysis techniques, etc.); Introduction to SPSS: basic commands and menus; data entry, examination of the normality of data distribution and normality test, Outlier sorting; correlation (factors affecting the correlation coefficient such as Pearson moments multiplication, Phi, Tetracoric, double-series, point-double-series Spearman etc.); concepts of validity and reliability; validity and reliability analysis (item total correlation, test split, test-retest) topics will be discussed.
