Objectives of the Course
The aim of this lesson is to comprehending the period from the Prophet until the classification of narrations in view of history of hadith and introducing the students basic hadith sources and to teach the hadith methodology.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Will understand the authority and importance of Prophet Muhammad in making social and religious law in Islamic thought. PO-1 Can be able to improve and deepen their knowledge in the same or different field based on the graduate level qualifications in their field of study.
PO-2 Can be able to the interdisciplinary interaction of their field of study and conduct joint studies with different fields of study.
Examination
LO-2 Will learn the contribution of muhaddiths to other religious sciences; and learn detailed knowledge about related topics such as mutawatir-ahad, maqbool-mardood, sahih (sound)-hasen (good)-zaeef (weak) hadith, and the ways hadith literatures bring us. PO-1 Can be able to improve and deepen their knowledge in the same or different field based on the graduate level qualifications in their field of study.

LO-3 Will be aware of methods of hadith teaching and learning and learn hadith sciences around the topics: the sources of hadith methodology, Riwaya-Rawi-Marwi, mawdoo' (fabricated) hadith, weakneses of hadith, varieties of hadith. PO-2 Can be able to the interdisciplinary interaction of their field of study and conduct joint studies with different fields of study.
Examination
LO-4 Will gain ability to truly use the hadith texts by examining the main hadith books such as Kutub Sittah, Kutub Tis'ah. PO-2 Can be able to the interdisciplinary interaction of their field of study and conduct joint studies with different fields of study.

Course Contents
In this course, the origin, importance and evolution of the hadith, the first source of the hadith, the formation of the science of hadith, the reasons that prepared it, and the words made up as hadith are taught.
