Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course; It is to give basic information about the first period of Islamic Sects and the religious-political Islamic sects living today, to have information about the reasons for religious differentiations.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Know the reasons for the emergence of the first Islamic sects. PO-1 Can be able to improve and deepen their knowledge in the same or different field based on the graduate level qualifications in their field of study.
PO-2 Can be able to the interdisciplinary interaction of their field of study and conduct joint studies with different fields of study.
PO-4 Can be able to use the relevant research methods and techniques and have both theoretical and practical knowledge in their field of study.

Course Contents
Definition, subject, purpose, method of the History of Sects; Basic concepts and resources; The reasons for the emergence of sects, the reasons for the emergence of sects such as Qadianism, Baha'iism, Wahhabism, their formation processes, Other contemporary Islamic movements will be covered.
