Objectives of the Course
The purpose of this course; to have knowledge about the development of sociological theory, the issues it discusses and its main interests.

LO-1 Understands the basic concepts of sociology and early sociology. PO-1 1. Can understand the basic concepts regarding the sociology programs.
PO-2 2.Can transfer and adapt what they have acquired in the field of Sociology to other disciplines.
PO-3 3. Can develop creative, resourceful in terms of conducting sociological analysis and equipped with the communication and social skills necessary to take part in team work.

The content of the course is: birth and development of sociology discipline, basic concepts of sociology history, ideas of important sociologists, relationship of sociological thought with other sciences, history of sociology.
